Please read these Terms & Conditions before booking with Dirty Dogz Grooming. By making a booking you agree to the terms below.

1) Bookings & Deposits

• A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your appointment.
• Your deposit will be deducted from the final bill on the day of your appointment.

2) Rescheduling & Cancellations

• You may move your appointment free of charge up to 48 hours before the start time.
• Changes within 48 hours, cancellations, or no-shows will result in the deposit being forfeited. A new deposit will be required to rebook.

3) Late Arrival & Collection

• Arrival: Please arrive on time. We allow a 15-minute grace period. After this, we may need to shorten the groom or reschedule depending on timing.
• Collection: Please collect promptly when notified. A late collection fee of £5 per 15 minutes will apply. This is required under our insurance cover.

4) Estimates, Photos & Pre-Assessment

• Guide prices only: Prices shown on our website are estimates.
• Photo required: We ask for a clear, recent photo of your dog (full body, current coat) before confirming your appointment so we can estimate time and cost accurately.
• Final price: The final price is confirmed after the groom is completed. We do not give final prices at drop-off.
• If the price needs to change: We'll advise you during the session if extra time or costs may apply. If the groom cannot be completed as booked, we may ask you to return on another day.

5) Pricing & Payment

• Prices are shown as "from" and vary based on size, coat condition, and behaviour.
• Payment is due on collection (card / cash / bank transfer accepted).
• If a groom takes significantly longer, we may not be able to extend the session. A follow-up appointment may be needed to complete the groom.

6) Coat Condition & Welfare

• Severely matted coats will be managed with your dog's welfare as the priority, which may mean clipping short.
• A matted coat surcharge may apply of £5–£15.

7) Health, Behaviour & Safety

• Please tell us about any health issues, medications, allergies, or behavioural concerns before the appointment.
• We may use appropriate safety aids (e.g., muzzle/restraints) if needed for everyone's safety.
• If your dog becomes distressed, we will stop the groom and ask you to return on another day.

8) Fleas & Parasites

• We do not offer flea treatment or grooming for dogs with fleas.
• If fleas are found, the appointment will be stopped immediately and a clean-down fee of £20 will apply to cover decontamination.
• No grooming charges will apply if the session is not carried out.

9) Photos

With your permission, we may take before/after photos for our portfolio or social media. You can withdraw consent at any time and we will remove images where possible.

10) Liability

• Every care is taken, but grooming involves tools and dryers. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions or issues caused by mats, skin conditions, or undisclosed health/behaviour.
• Please ensure your contact details are correct so we can reach you during the appointment.

11) Data & Privacy

We only collect details needed to manage your booking and care for your dog. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

12) Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
